fun with letters!

Oliver, where is the "E" for elephant? We got these puzzles at Costco a while back and I just pulled them out because we've been working with letters a lot.
He seems to do really well with them. We got all the way through "I" before he got bored and wanted to do something else. He did a super good jobby!!

Fun with letters

Oliver, where's the E for Elephant? I've been working with Oliver on letters and we had found these fun puzzles at Costco a while back so I finally pulled them out.
The puzzles seem to keep his attention longer than the books or flash cards I've tried. We got all the way through "I" before he got bored!!

Cute boy pictures!

Oliver takes good care of Zoobah. He rocks him and feeds him and plays with him. He carried him around for a good while on this day.
This is Girl. She is Wyatt's baby although Oliver named her. He has a different way of taking care of his baby...
Pepsi! The drink of the new generation!!
Fun with learning letters! Oliver loves puzzles and I'm trying so hard to teach him letters. This puts those two together and makes it easier to keep his attention. He got all the way through "I" before he got bored.

Back to the Mountains

i can always tell when i cross the line into West Virginia- its the same mountain that is virginia but once you cross that line the air seems sweeter, cooler... everything has a fuzzy beautiful contrast and if you're coing from the east around sunset its magnificent.
If you ever go to Lewisburg go downtown and look for a place called the Wild Bean- a coffee place- very nice. If you ask the owner's for the Bob Discount you'll get a free cup sleeve with every purchase.

Heineken Green

4:55
Finished my first beer of the day because i've heard that it takes the edge off... but as i've grown older there are many less edges on me and i wonder how many more do i have left?
I have matching flatware, matching dishes and glasses that match the dishes- i am married. This has always seemed strange to me but i feel pretty good about the whole thing-I'm waiting for our towels to match and to have a dust ruffle, a bedroom suite and shams- i'm not even sure what one is but i fear its arrival more than i fear the arrival of my child.
A son or daughter or both or 3 of each who knows anymore?
Mine- i've reproduced or at least completed some of the most basic elements of reproduction... my wife is pregnant with our child.
Almost inconceivable!
Me married.
Me a father.
Me- I- Bob who has traveled to some of the strangest places, met some of the strangest people and some of the best for that matter...I, who has conquered many, pursued more and lost all but one.The enormity of the, well of everything still shocks, stuns and puzzles me- to me nothing has ever been small or trivial (excepting maybe bills) the interconnectedness of all things i've tried to fathom, to seek the path in chaos to stare into abyssi (plural fo abyss?)
I have a dog and a 401k and i'm looking to buy a mattress and its not really i any longer everything is We and the we keeps expanding.
We go to the beach every year, we send thank you notes and visit people because of arbitrary dates on a calendar- not because we felt like driving.
We have budgets, saving accounts, spreadsheets- i haven't had to scrounge for change in years- i wouldn't even know where to start because We keep all the change in a giant jar.I'm not unhappy... very far from it.
I love my family, i love the idea of having a family and a home and security- its just odd is all...its just all very odd.

getting another beer.
